The Principle of Color-change Lipstick
The formula of temperature-changing lipstick is added with an acid-base indicator, which will develop color according to the pH value of the individual’s lips. Generally, the skin of the lips is acidic. This indicator will produce a chemical reaction when it encounters acidic lips or skin, and the higher the temperature, the faster the chemical reaction.
