Using highlighter stick is very simple, here are the general steps:
Prepare the skin: Before applying any make-up, make sure your skin is clean and apply a proper moisturiser.
Apply Foundation: If you normally use foundation, apply it first to even out the tone of your skin and to provide a good base for subsequent make-up steps.
Choose where to highlight: Determine where you want to add shine. Typically these include the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, the underside of the brow bone, the inner corners of the eyes and the arch of the upper lip.
Apply Highlighter: Gently rotate the bottom of the highlighter stick to expose just the right amount of product. Then, use your fingers or a makeup brush to gently apply to the selected highlight. Use gentle tapping or circular motions to spread the product evenly.
Blend and retouch: Gently blend and retouch the highlighter using your fingertips or a makeup brush to ensure that it blends in with the skin for a natural glowing effect.
Finish the look: Check and touch up any areas that need adjusting, then move on to the rest of the look, such as blush, eyes and lips.
